Put simply, the way our body deals and copes with the stressors in our life can have a huge impact on our overall mental health. From feeling down, depressed, and sad to feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and eventually, exhausted and burnt out.
We put ourselves through a lot on a day to day basis, without taking the time we need to rest our body and our minds. We go go go, trying to meet deadlines, be social, get daily chores done, take care of the kids, all before the day is up so that we can go to bed late and start all over again in the morning.
Using a Naturopathic approach, we will discuss those mental health stressors in order to help them become more manageable. We will provide your body with natural herbs to help build a resilience to the negative effects of stress and thus help boost your energy, your mental focus, and your mood.

When an injury occurs, your body releases cytokines that cause Swelling, Inflammation, and Redness to happen at the injured area. Then, Decreased Range of Motion and Pain tend to follow as your body attempts to protect the injured area and begin to heal it. As healing progresses, the swelling goes down, our range of motion comes back and the pain subsides. However, many injuries do not heal in such a linear fashion and as such, we may be left with scar tissue, stiffness, decreased range of motion, compensation, and pain that reminds us of our past injury. It is key to understand the evolution of an injury in order to apply the appropriate treatments.
A Naturopathic approach is all about understanding the injury first and foremost and then utilizing proper muscle and joint mechanics in order to address the dysfunction that is happening in the body and restore it back to health.
